Lip balm works as well. Try Maybelline Baby Lips ($4). The trick to avoid creating a sticky, makeup mess is to avoid putting the balm or gloss on your eye crease. Byrdie.com says "Tap on a thin layer with your finger. Here’s the real trick: Avoid the crease. Leave a small break open along the crease in your eyelid." Would you ever try the glossy eye look?
